Pour envisager le futur des médias et des communications mobiles, un think tank parrainé par Symyo a ouvert une plateforme de discussion, MOCOM 2020. La vidéo qui suit récapitule les évolutions des télécommunications depuis 1906 et appelle à la participation.

Une version sous-titrée en français est disponible ici.

Ces tendances futures doivent être interprétées avec parcimonie car ce sont souvent des projections technocentrées. Ici, l'exemple de l'émancipation de la technologie NFC semble un peu tardive (2015) puisqu’il y a déjà des villes pilotes qui testent cette technologie.
